PRODUCT: XON 1.5 COB

St Joseph’s Gregory Terrace required a versatile and exceptionally rugged display solution for its high-traffic school sports hall. Standard commercial displays often fail in sports environments due to the constant physical risk of impact from balls and equipment. Furthermore, the venue demanded multi-functional technology capable of transitioning instantly between high-speed athletic scoring, clear school-wide communication, and large-scale academic presentations without losing visual clarity in a brightly lit hall.

The Solution

PixonTech delivered and integrated a dual-screen configuration tailored specifically for high-impact educational and sporting environments. The installation featured the premium XON Series 1.5mm LED product line.

Key technical aspects of the deployment include:

• Impact-Resistant Architecture: Implemented advanced bonded face technology across both displays to protect the sensitive LEDs from physical impact and airborne debris.

• Dual Large-Format Displays: Mounted two massive 135” LED screens at strategic vantage points within the sports hall for maximum visibility.

• Premium Crisp Clarity: Utilized a tight 1.5mm pixel pitch to deliver striking Full High Definition visual performance, ensuring text and graphics remain perfectly legible from any corner of the room.

The Results

The new installation completely modernized the school sports hall, turning it into a highly adaptable, state-of-the-art campus hub:

• Dynamic Multi-Use Functionality: Equipped the school with high-performance digital canvases optimized to display real-time scoreboards, school communications, and multimedia presentations.

• Rugged Longevity: Guaranteed long-term structural reliability and reduced maintenance overhead through the durable, impact-ready bonded face design.

• Enhanced Campus Engagement: Improved the day-to-day experience for students, staff, and spectators alike by providing a clear, professional visual anchor for all campus events.
