The entry zone represents a heavily trafficked transit area exposed to substantial ambient light, meaning the display required immense brightness to prevent content from looking washed out. Crucially, the system had to meet strict structural compliance standards; it required a heavy-duty, load bearing surface engineered to withstand continuous impact from people of all shapes and sizes (and shoes)—including sharp high heels—without cracking, shifting, or scratching sensitive LED elements.
